Marigolds Are Black In Center Of Blooms

Question From: S. LaRosa - Columbus, Ohio, United States
Q: Our marigolds are black in the center of the blooms. Any idea?

A: Your plants have a fungal disease. Pick off and destroy the infected flowers. Try spraying the plants with a product called Serenade which is a beneficial bacteria. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
