Question From: Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States
Q: On 5/22/15 I purchased a beautiful Martha Washington geranium,in bloom, also potted to hang on my patio . I kept it watered and in the morning sun with afternoon shade. Around 5/29, the plant seemed to be falling over, but still had good color. Rain and a change in the weather(cooler nights) set in for about 3 days and nights (nights not below 50 degrees). The soil is dampish and the stems are falling over, can it be saved or what can I do ?
A: Stop watering it. Keep the soil moist. M W geraniums can be temperamental. I would have brought it in when the temps dropped. Google care of MW geraniums - they are a different specie then your grandma's flowers. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
Comment: Nancy, that is exactly what I did and it seems to be responding , I think I over watered it. Thank you .
