Q: i had a small miniature rosebush and theother day it was fine and today it looks like its been cit at the bottom of the plant , there are just little stems coming out of the soil what eats the stems down to about one inch is coming out of the soil.
A: My guess is deer. They will eat the buds and flowers and stems that have thorns that are somewhat tender. I spray with Plantskydd. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
