Mixing Ratio For Green Light Spinosad For Citrus

Question From: CALIFORNIA
Q: What is the mixing ratio for Green Light Spinosad (oz/pint, etc) for citrus? Thanks

A:

Lynn, here's some information from the product label:

MIXING AND APPLICATION

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING.

Green Light Lawn & Garden Spray may be applied with a trigger sprayer, hand-held, backpack, or hoseend sprayer. Use a hose-end sprayer that can be adjusted to provide a dilution rate of 2 fl ozs (4 tbs) per 1 gallon of spray. Add the required amount of product to the recommended amount of water, mix thoroughly and apply uniformly to plant foliage to the point of runoff. Mix only as much spray as needed for a single treatment. Do not store spray solution. Time applications to early morning/late evening to minimize the potential for leaf burn. In vegetable gardens, use no more than 3 gallons of spray for each 1,000 sq. ft. area. Do not use kitchen utensils for measuring. Keep measuring utensils with product away from children.

WHEN TO APPLY

Make applications when listed insect pests are present. Repeat applications may be made as indicated in the Home Garden Treatment Table below. For further information, see your state extension service recommendations for treatment guidelines in your area.
