Moved Boxwood Not Putting Out New Growth

Question From: G. MEASON - SOUTH CAROLINA
Q: I have two boxwoods on each side of my front porch. A few months ago we had a water line break and one of the plants had to be dug up, now the unmoved plant is putting out new growth but the plant we dug up is not. What do you think I need to do for this plant?

Just make sure it is watered so the soil stays moist, but not sodden into winter. In late winter or early spring sprinkle a couple of handfulls of Espoma HollyTone on the surface of the soil around the shrub. Best and Happy Yardening, Nancy
