Nighttime Temperature Vs Soil Temperature To Tell When To Put Down Grass Seed

Question From: Madison Heights, Michigan, United States
Q: What should the night time temperature be before putting down new grass seed?

Brenda, the nightime temps aren't the issue. The soil temp should be 50 degrees. Get a soil thermometer to check it out. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
