Oak Leaf Hydrangea Is Stressed

Question From: J. Sensor - Hendersonville, North Carolina, United States
Q: Hello, I'm hoping you can help me figure out what is wrong with my oak leaf hydrangea. I have a photo which I have attached. Thanks

It certainly is stressed out. Looks like it is sitting in full sun and suffering from lack of water. These plants are understory trees that naturally live on the edge of forests. They should not be exposed to sun during the heat of the day and need soil that stays moist. I'd move it. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
