Once Healthy Geraniums Have Tiny Leaves

Question From: Bethany Beach, Delaware, United States
Q: My geraniums were fine. Now the leaves are tiny - not lush like before. I thought they were overwatered, but I haven't watered in days and they are not getting better. The pot in partial shade is doing very well.

Your geraniums are probably suffering from a disease. They may never thrive. Or they may die. Do not fertilize them with fertilizer high in nitrogen. The soil is tainted and should be discarded along with the diseased plants. Take care not to spread the disease to your other geraniums. Best Nancy
