Question From: WASHINGTON
Q: I have 5 Miss Kim lilacs on the west side of our house in western Washington state. They have been there for 3 years and have grown into beautiful, full bushes about 4' tall. However, they never bloom! How can I help these beauties bloom and emit the fragrance they are known for?.
A: Lack of sun and too much fertilizer are the two most common reasons for lack of bloom. Lilacs need full sun ( six hours or more of direct sun) to bloom. Get out your shovel and move them. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy..
