Parsley Leaves Have White And Yellow Spots On Top

Question From: F. Arnold - Syracuse, New York, United States
Q: My parsley plants are growing nicely. BUT...now some leaves have white spots and yellow spots on top that does not wipe off (I tried), and shiny silvery parts underneath the leaves, and some of the leaves are super shiny like they've been polished. Are they even safe to use???

Sounds like sunburn. Try moving them to an area that is out of the blistering afternoon heat. Check the leaves with a magnifying glass. If the spots are not moving and you have used no pesticides, they should be alright to eat. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
