Parsley Turning Yellow After Heat Wave

Question From: Danville, California, United States
Q: our parsley that's growing on the deck in a pot is turning turning yellow while the parsley in the garden in raised beds is still doing well. We did have a heat wave where the temperature went to into the high 90's to low 100's for over 5 days and that is when the problem started. We kept it well watered but it continues to look ghastly. What do you think might be the problem?

The potted parsley suffered a heat stroke. It may also have dried down. You may need to replace it. Move it to a more protected area when the heat arrives so it doesn't cook. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
