Q: my petunias are sticky and the blossoms are eaten from the inside out what is wrong?

The stickiness is a natural function of the flower. I don't know what's eating your plant. My guess would be slugs. Cut a couple of branches and take them you your local garden center for a visual ID. Happy Yardening, Nancy
