Question From: MINNESOTA
Q: I have a large tall phlox that bloomed for years, then, it was healthy and green but no blooms for 2 years. Last spring we dug it up, divided it and replanted in the sun facing east. It still hasn't bloomed, so should I just dig it up and toss it? all our other phlox are doing well.
A: Phlox need about 6 hours of sun a day. Too much fertilizer and overly rich soil will also keep them from blooming. I'd replace them with plants that would be happier in that location. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
