Pine Trees Have Orange Rust Colored Growth

Question From: B. Dugan - Douglassville, Pennsylvania, United States
Q: Can you help identify this orange/rust colored growth on my trees? It seems to be spreading.

The disease is orange cedar rust and it looks like an advanced case. If they were my trees I would have them treated by a professional. To find a certified arborist in your area go to www.tcia.org and enter your zip code. Best Nancy
