Plant Daffodils In Raised Bed Then Dig Up And Store Bulbs For Following Year

Question From: G. Lovely - Sanford, Florida, United States
Q: Can I plant daffodils in a raised bed in zone nine and afterwards dig up the bulbs and store in a refrigerator and replant the following year ?

I think so. Basically what you are doing is forcing them. You would pot them up in September, store them in the fridge and plant them out in Spring. For more accurate instructions contact Brent and Becky's Bulbs. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
