Pole Bean Plants Grew Tall But Most Did Not Produce Fruit

Question From: S. Hemmen - Charter Township of Clinton, Michigan, United States
Q: Our pole beans are at least 7' tall. I have 12 plants. I staked them when they kept growing! HOWEVER.. we have picked ONLY 4! Can you tell us what happened?

Hot weather and lack of water happened. Too much nitrogen fertilizer will also prevent flowering and fruiting. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
