Possible Black Vine Weevil Eating Lamium Bleeding Heart And Toad Lilly

Q: insects around 1/4" long brownish in color with 6 legs (3 on each side) with two antennas on its head are eating the edges of my lamium, bleeding heart, and toad lily. i was told thye might be black vine weevil but they don't look quite the same. how do i treat them?

It could be black vine weevil.They usually chew notch-like holes at the edges of the leaves. Bayer 3 and 1 Insect Disease and Mite Control is labeled for black vine weevils. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
