Potted Marigold Plants Are Being Eaten To The Stems At Night

Question From: Kenney, Illinois, United States
Q: I have merigold plants in a cement pot when I get up in the a.m. no blooms and nothing left the stems. What's eating them. Help

A: My guess is slugs. They feed at night, so get out a flashlight and go hunting. I use a product containing Iron Phosphate, such as Sluggo. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
