Rabbits Taking Bites Out Of Tomatoes

Question From: MICHIGAN
Q: Years ago when I planted my first garden the rabbits from a nearby fence company annoyingly kept taking bites out of my tomatoes. However, my hoosier farm-raised mother counciled me that they were just thirsty & told me to put out several pans of water & to keep them refreshed. She was right & we enjoyed the tomatoes the rest of the summer..
