Question From: Livonia, Michigan, United States
Q: I have everbearing red raspberries- 3 or 4 bushes. Something is causing small holes in the leaves-an insect? What can I do for this ?
In this heat I would ignore it. Any spraying would do more harm than good. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
Q: The holes in the leaves happened quite early in the season. What type of preventive could be done next year? Also we have some shrubs- variegated something, two inch green leaves with a white mark in some leaves. There are little white things on both sides of some of the leaves. It has killed part of the bush. We have a spraying service but I doubt that these were sprayed. I'd like to know what is causing both of these things for future prevention. Thanks!!
Take bagged samples of the little white things to your local English Gardens or Steinkopf Nursery for an accurate Id and recommendation for control. Also ask for a recommendation for your raspberry issues. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
