Question From: Waunakee, Wisconsin, United States
Q: Help! I have a River Birch and the leaves are turning yellow and falling. It started off with just a few turning yellow, but now the yellow leaves are all through the tree. The leaves look healthy, just turning yellow & falling rapidly. This clump(3) was transplanted about 5 years ago & has been doing this ever since. The tree is about 25-30ft. Can you help me? Thanks.
A: Yellow leaves are not healthy. Trees need leaves to make food. Get an onsite inspection from a certified arborist ASAP. You have no tools to treat a tree of the size. To find one in your area go to www.tcia.org. Best Nancy
