Q: I have a 10 year old River Birch. Last year it Osterman its leaves Early. This year it only has sporadic leaves at the top. All three portions of the tree is like this. Is the tree dying or can it be saved?

A: It does not look good Stanley. The leaves of the trees manufacture food and yours is obviously starving. I would put it out of its misery. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
