Rose Bush Blooms Droop And Do Not Bloom And Leaves Have Bugs Laying Orange Eggs On Undersides

Question From: Saint Adolphe, Manitoba, Canada
Q: My rose bush has a few problems: one my new solid blooms start nice then droop and don't open at all & # 2 I have some bugs laying orange eggs all under my leaves, Help.

Boytrytis blight is most likely the cause of the bud droop. A fungicide is the answer. The eggs are from some sort of bug. If you lived in the U.S. I would recommend Actinovate for the blight and an azadiractin based product such as AzaMax for the bug eggs. Both are OMRI list and safe for the environment.
