Rosemary Leaves Look Blotchy And Anemic

Question From: L. Sheehan - Wilmington, North Carolina, United States
Q: Bought a very healthy GREEN Rosemary plant has been a pot for 9 mo. Leaves are now blotchy looks anemic. Soil, moisture, fertilizer (Miracle Gro All purpose) what needs to be changed? Plant in ground

Number one stop using Miracle Gro, You're killing your Rosemary. It requires full sun, lean fast draining soil. In spring you can feed it with fish emulsion at half strength. Last fall I toured the South for France where they grow wild in dry gravely soil. In winter the plant likes damp soil. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
