Question From: G. Anderson - FLORIDA
Q: Hi Nancy, I have grown roses for 30+ years and suddenly my roses produce small blossoms, the leaves drop, the stem turns brown from the tip toward the main branch and then the plant dies. These plants are watered 2 X a week and fertilized 1 x each month. I recently bought 4 new rose bushes from a rose nursery and noticed this started a month after the new plants were introduced. What's wrong. Help!
A: Your roses may have the dreaded disease known as rose rosette. Take sample ( in a sealed plastic bag) and photos to an independent garden center for an accurate ID. Best Nancy
