Should Actinovate Be Used When Preparing Garden For Winter

Question From: M. Rowan - Charter Township of Clinton, Michigan, United States
Q: Since I believe I had fungus in my vegetable garden this season and one of the mildew issues on my perennial Phlox, is there any benefit in spraying Actinovate on both gardens as we are putting them to bed for the winter and then again in the spring or just follow your recommendations for the use of it as I plant next year?

Miriam, I think the soil is too cold now. The temperatures need to be at least 50 degrees. Seal the leftover in the packet, put it in a small plastic bag and store it in the refrigerator until spring. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
