Should Aerating Be Done When Overseeding With Slicer

Question From: d. commerford - KANSAS
Q: should a person overseed with a slicer at the same time as core aerating is done or should we wait until spring to aerate. We live in kansas

If you core aerate you don't need the slicer, but it you choose to use both do the core aerating first, then the seeding and slicer. Make sure your soil is moist before doing the coring so the corer can penetrate the soil. Happy Yardening, Nancy
