Should Black Eyed Susans Be Cut To Ground When Flowers Are Spent

Question From: K. Haines - MICHIGAN
Q: Once the flowers are gone from my Black Eyed Susans can I cut them to the ground/I sent a question earlier but I said Black Eyed Peas.

Best to wait until after a frost takes them out. They are producing carbs to store in the roots for spring growth. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
