Question From: Wadena, Minnesota, United States
Q: I over seeded this fall. New grass blend Perennial Rye 44%, Fescue 34%, KBG 20% is coming in well. Wondering about removing the fall leaves that will drop in the next few weeks. Will raking be too Harsh on new shoots?
A: The best thing to do mow them in the lawn with a mulching mower. They will quickly decompose and amend the soil and feed the grass. It's a win win. If you get loads, use a blower vac. Raking will tear up the tender seedlings. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
