Question From: A. Coursey - TENNESSEE
Q: I have a peony plant at my new house. It finished blooming and as I went to deadhead them, one of the flower stems had 3 triangle pods on it. Is this normal and should I cut it off or leave it?
Those pods are seed heads. Remove them to allow the energy to go to the plant. Next spring cut off the blooms when they fade. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
