Smoke Tree Has Dead Branches And Leaves Have Brown Spots

Question From: D. MARDIS - Brooklyn, Michigan, United States
Q: My smoke tree had dark green/hint of red foliage 2 weeks ago. Now the are branches of totality dead brown branches and the leaves have some spots of brown which I'm guessing will soon turn brown and dead like the other foliage. Is this a fungus and what can I do to treat it?

Dean, I suggest you get the advice of a certified arborist, a trained tree doctor. A bad guess could cost you your tree. To find a professional in you area call 800-733-2622 or online at www.tcia.org. Good Luck Guy and Happy Yardening, Nancy
