Some Crepe Myrtles Have Stunted And Twisted Leaves

Question From: Fuentenebro, Castilla y León, Spain
Q: I cut back my crape myrtles and most are showing vigorous new growth. However, two (right next to very healthy ones) are showing new growth that is stunted, twisted and about 1/4 size of leaves, etc on the healthy bushes.

Check for powdery mildew or aphids. You might take a few cuttings to an independent nursery that sells these trees for an accurate Id and recommendation of action. Best Nancy
