Question From: K. Smith - TEXAS
Q: Something ate all the leaves off my marigold flowers. The flowers are still there. Will the plants survive and produce more leaves ?
A: Karen, The marigolds need their leaves to make food so I doubt they will
survive. In Michigan slugs and snails are one of the few bugs that eat
marigold leaves.
An organic product that controls them is Sluggo which contains Iron
Phosphate that is OMRI listed and not poisonous.
In Texas contact Texas A&M University at https://texasinsects.tamu.edu. for possible insects.
