Question From: Tackley, , United Kingdom
Q: hi my spirea jalonica has red spots on it, another spirea about four metres away has the same problem, do you know what this is, the leaves are starting to go light yellow thank you
A: Tracey, The yellowing of the leaves is caused by lack of lack of a nutrient. Could be nitrogen or iron. The red spots are a fungal disease. Spray with a fungicide as recommended by your local independent garden center. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
