Question From: NEW YORK
Q: Every year my Sunburst Locust tree produces catkins. Although messy the flowering/dropping period is short lived. THIS year the tree produced not a single catkin. It looks perfectly healthy. Is this a problem I should be concerned with?
A: A late season frost may have damaged the flowers so they did not go to seed. If the leaves are normal size and good color keep it well watered and it should be fine. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
