Question From: Differdange, Luxembourg, Luxembourg
Q: Thank you. My problem is with my Teddy Bear Magnolia. I have brown to black spots on the leaves. These spots get quite large. My leaves are falling off prematurely. I have picked off every offending leaf but after about 3 weeks the spots are back and only on half the tree. At first I thought it was leaf burn as I live in Queensland and I have a westerly aspect but now think it is something else. I have checked for aphids and insects but the tree is clear.
A: Sandra, Your teddy bear has a bacterical or viral disease. I recommend you conact a certified arborist for an onsite inspection to have it properly treated. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
