Transplanted Hydrangea Has Not Bloomed

Question From: r. hammer - MICHIGAN
Q: neighbor threw away 2 hygraneas away, I rescued then, planted in back yard [5 large trees, east facing] changed front landscaping spring, replanted in front, facing west, large sycamore tree, planted in Miraclegrow garden soil, watered daily, added hygraneas fertilizer, 4' has bloomed, 3' has not [which gets more sun. What should I do?

Give it time to become established. Do not fertilize it again this season. Espoma Holly Tone in late winter or early spring would be a better choice. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
