Question From: G. Herr - Cibolo, Texas, United States
Q: My variegated (green/gold) euonymus plants have patches of leaves that lose all color, dries up, and leaves/branch dies. I don't see any normal disease indicators. The patches are not restricted to a specific area of the plant and have not spread to the whole plant. Any information on what this may be and how to stop it???
A: Could be winter kill. Also, scale is an issue with euonymus. Look at the under sides of the leaves and stems for little bumps. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
