Question From: D. Klinger - CALIFORNIA
Q: Hi Nancy, I have a Hendrickson DG 5025 regulator attached to the output of a Rainbird DAS-100 anti-siphon valve. The output of the regulator goes to a drip system to water roses. After changing the rubber diaphram on the DAS-100 valve, I notice water flowing out of the middle of a hole in the Hendrickson regulator. If I decrease the flow rate of the anti-siphon valve (via an adjustment), I don't get enough water flow to the roses. If I increase the flow rate to get water, then water flows out of the middle of the Hendrickson regulator. What do you suggest I do?
A:
Sorry Don, I am clueless on this one. I suggest you contact Rainbird and the Manufacturers of the Hendrickson for advice -- here is a link to the Hendrickson website and here is a link to a product manual for this type of regulator.. You might also call a professional irrigation installer for advice. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
