Weeds Not Dying After Herbicide Application

Question From: M. Richardson - MAINE
Q: Hi, I sprayed all of my weeds and edges of beds on Friday and Saturday. The weeds do not appear to be dying, and some have actually grown. Is this typical? Could something have been wrong with the one I bought? Some 'barely' look like they are a little sick, but not what I'd expected after 2 1/2 / 3 days....What are your thoughts? Should it take this long? The instruction said that I'd start to see results after 24 hours

Michele, It would be helpful if you could identify the herbicide. Also, did you by chance fertilize 2 weeks prior to the applications? Herbicides can take a week or more to take effect. Much depends on the weather. Best Nancy
