Weeping Purple Beach Tree Branches And Leaves Are Dying

Question From: B. Wasilewski - Southgate, Michigan, United States
Q: i have a Weeping Purple Beech tree that i planted 15 years ago and it has done great till now. Last year it looked a little poor and now this year it looks terrible. The branches and leaves are dying. Does it need water and fertilizer? Is something attacking these trees? I don't see anything on it. Thanks

Water may well be the issue. Wish you had addressed the issue when it began looking bad. I would have an onsite inspection from a certified arborist. To find one in your area go to www.tcia.org and enter your zipcode. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
