Q: I have a weeping pussy willow some of the leaves are turning brown there is a clear sparkling on the leaves I know that Kind of sounds weird I live in Kingman Az, I had the tree for about a month in the ground
A: The clear sparkling is probably honey dew - a liquid that drips from tiny bug called aphids The brown leaves may be from aphid damage or lack of water.. Take samples of the leaves in a sealed baggie to your local independent garden center or nursery that sells these trees for more accurate Id and recommendation for treatment. Best Nancy
