Weeping Willow Gets Infested With Aphids And Ants

Question From: E. White - Winton, California, United States
Q: Every year my weeping willow gets infested with aphids and ants. Do I treat for the aphids, ants, or both?

Treat for the aphids. Get rid of them and you will get rid of the ants. They eat the honey dew produced by the aphids and do not harm the willow Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
