Weigelia Stems Have Leaves Without Any White Edges

Question From: R. Mohr - Van Wert, Ohio, United States
Q: My 'MY Monet' weigelia had green/white/pink varigated leaves. There are now multiple stems without any white edges on 3 of my 5 plants. What causes this & how do I correct/stop the change?

Two guesses. First it may be reverting. Remove the stems. Lack of water will also cause color change. Make sure it's kept hydrated. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
