Q: What is the most effective electronic system to repel Deer. How effective is stringing the fishing line 2 ft off the ground.
A: Jeff and I had good luck with the fishing line. It lasts for about three years. But they are broken if the deer are startled and they bolt. We also had good luck with PlantSkydd - a blood based liquid repellant. Lasts for 3 months in winter. It has been several years since I worked with electric fences.
