What Do Arborvitae Seed Pods Look Like

Question From: Mount Victory, Ohio, United States
Q: are arborvitea trees suppost to have anything grow on them, like pine trees have pine cones on them?

They do. The seed pods are green and dry to brown and pop open looking like tiny wooden flowers. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
