What Is Best Fertilizer For Boxwoods

Question From: Chappaqua, New York, United States
Q: What is the best "general" type of fertilizer to use on boxwoods. I live in the Northern suburbs of New York City. My boxwoods are healthy, and have some slight yellowing on the leaves due to getting "burned" by sub zero temps this past winter.

I recommend Plant Tone by Espoma. It is a slow release organic fertilizer that also include beneficial organisms. Winter burn turns leaves a light tan. Be sure to read and follow the directions. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy

Comment: Thank you VERY much for your response. Value and appreciate your advice.
