Question From: J. Sapp - Nekoosa, Wisconsin, United States
Q: What would be eating the new growth on my barberry plants.
A: There are several insects that eat barberrry. I would get some yellow sticky traps - cards with a stickum on them that traps the culprits so you can identify them. Checking with a flashlight after dark is a good time to look for insects. It's may be too late to do anything this season as most bugs have matured and laid their eggs by now. But it's worth a try.
