What Is Good Flowering Plant That Will Spill Over Front Of Planter

Question From: M. O'Shaughnessey - MICHIGAN
Q: What flowers would be good to plant in an above ground large container that would drop over the front - similar to a vine? We have a rectangular stone plantar that is about 2 and half feet above ground, four feet wide and about 2 feet deep. I would like to plant an annual that would droop over the front. The container is in full sun most of the day. Many thanks!

The sweet potato vines are perfect spillers. Though they don't flower, they come in several colors and leaf shapes, so if you mix them you can create great drama. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
