What Is Milorganite Made Of And How Much Is Needed For An Acre

Question From: Gladstone, Illinois, United States
Q: How much do I need for 3/4 acre? also I was told it was made of bat poop is this true?

Milorganite is made of biosolids - reclaimed from the Milwaukee sewer system. Check out their website for more information. A 36 pound bag will cover 2500 sq feet. Do the math. It is safe to use so don't let the source scare you. BTW, bat guano is quite expensive and would cost a fortune to use as a lawn fertilizer.
